Our aim is to keep any additional work for you to a minimum, so where possible we will provide the tools for you to import data straight into pocketi.
For most people this means providing the data in an Excel spreadsheet or CSV file format. If you can export your data to create mail merges from your DMS (Destination Management System), it is likely you can export all the information you will want to go into pocketi.
We can work with you to import XML files and Tab files and RSS feeds.
Once the core data has been imported you can use the pocketi admin interface to verify the location of map items, add images and set the categories.
We will work with you to see what is possible and what we can do to make the process as smooth and as easy for you.
I am not using a DMS, can you still import my data?
If you can provide your data in an Excel spreadsheet or as a CSV we can help. If your data is kept in any kind of organised digital format we will do our utmost to help you. Just get in touch and we will see what we can figure out.
Can I enter information manually?
Yes you can. The admin area is really simple to use and you can type or cut and paste a new item into the system within a matter of minutes.
Can you enter the information for me?
Unfortunately we cannot enter information for you. We are constantly working to improve the admin area to make it easier and easier to do. If you would like a demo to see just how easy it is please get in touch.
